This Edition is a reprint of that book,and commemorates the centenary of the birth of Helena Petrovna, daughter of Col. Peter Hahn at Ekaterinoslaw, Russia, on July 31st,1831 o.s. The article by Mr. William T, Stead, the Editor of The Review of Reviews,Mr.A. P, Sinnett’s article in the same perioclical, and the editorial from the New York Tribune, were not included in the original edition.The photographic reproductions are also an addition, as are the contents, Name-Index, bibliographies and introduction.
